(Baltimore, MD) -- The Baltimore Coin and Currency Convention is tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday at the Baltimore Convention Center. The convention will display America's first gold coin -- the 1787 Brasher Doubloon, which has not been publicly displayed in 25 years. Visitors can browse expanded sections of foreign and ancient money, paper money and other collectibles. There will be numismatic giveaways for kids, as well as an educational forum on Saturday.

The Thursday, March 16, edition of the Baltimore Sun had a slight misunderstanding of the facts about the Brasher Doubloon returning to Baltimore for the first time since 1981.
