Contursi’s initial gift of $50,000 was earmarked for San Francisco. The monthly funds come without restriction so that they can be used to help further the overall museum-building, fund-raising effort.
In the $40 million campaign, the ANA hopes to use $21 million for museums on the two coasts, $4 million in Colorado Springs and $15 million to cover the operating costs of all three for five years.
