LAS VEGAS COIN, STAMP AND COLLECTIBLES SHOW Grand Ballroom
The world's most famous and valuable rare coins, the $8.5 million
King of Siam coin set, will be on public display in Las Vegas for the first time since
the legendary coins were featured at the 1999 opening of Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.
Las Vegas will see the return of the King of Siam proof set Oct. 27-29 at the second annual Las Vegas Coin, Stamp and Collectibles Show sponsored by the American Numismatic Association.
Emphasizing confidence in the current numismatic market, Rare Coin Wholesalers of Dana Point, California (www.rcw1.com) made nearly $1.6 million of the winning bids, virtually 30 percent of the total, in the $5.3 million Bowers and Merena Auction sale in Las Vegas, October 29.
